I have a graph with 2 series, each with 25K datapoints with zoom enabled using a dateTime x axis. Problems are
1) There are too many ticks on the x axis.
2) Response is very slow. Trying to grab the slider to zoom takes a long time
Any tips would be appreciated.

Can you send us your jqChart ( $('selector').jqChart({...}); ) configuration, so we can check it?

Can you send us jqChart configuration with only a small portion (2-3 data item) of the entire data?

It seems the problem occurs when I set the intervalType to "hours" instead of days, so it puts out 24x more x tick marks. Is there a way to limit that based on the view?
When I use "days", if you zoom to a 1 day period there are no tick marks for hours, so it's not ideal. It would be nice to be able to change the tick interval as you zoom.

Just don't set intervalType. jqChart will calculate it depending on the current visible data.
