Hi,

I'm evaluating a few different charting libraries to try and find something that is capable of producing certain types of charts.

Please refer to the graph in this question: http://stackoverflow.com...charts-in-google-charts

I'm wondering if jqChart is capable of producing a chart with all those features. Really, the most important thing that I'm having trouble finding is the custom markers on top of each column.

Could you advise if this is possible and please provide a sample? Also, is there a limit to the amount of charts that can be combined together? The demos only have had two charts combined, I was wondering if an arbitrary amount is possible.

Also, is it possible to save the produced charts on the backends? I may need to produce some PDF files with the charts so only having them displayed on the frontend isn't suitable.

Thanks.

Hi,
Here in the last example is shown how to set markers on top of each column:

http://www.jqchart.com/documentation/userguide/default.aspx#&who=ColumnCharts

Currently we support circle, rectangle, diamond and triangle marker types:

http://www.jqchart.com/documentation/userguide/default.aspx#&who=Markers

There is no limitation of the number of charts that can be combined. There is no problem to combine 3 column with 2 line series for example (or more).

Currently we don’t provide export functionality, but as we render the chart in HTML5 Canvas, it can be exported as an image with:

If you notice, the markers in my example aren't really markers per say. Rather, it's more akin to a scatter chart associated with a specific column.

I see now.

I've created a sample similar to your image. You can check it here:

You can download this sample from:
