Can I design custom legends in jqChart? For example I want to show the summary of the entire data as a legend.

Hi,

Currently the jqChart legend is populating only from the series. We have some plans of extending the legend functionality.

Can you explain a little more how you want to display the summary in the legend? Is this one more text in the legend?

Thanks Dragan,

I designed a bar chart for an Issue Tracking System that explains the no. of issues per status. For example, the bar chart explains the no. of issues that are 'Active', 'Resolved' or 'Closed'. ('No. of Issues' are in the Y-axis and 'Status' is on the X-axis).

I want to display the summary of the graph to the right in place of legend, something like

No. of Issues: 25
Active: 15
Resolved: 5
Closed: 5


Any idea regarding the timeframe about extending the functionality of the legend?

Let me know if you didn't understand my requirement.
