Hallo,

I read in your forum, that JqChart has some issues with the update panel. Is it a major problem? So better not to use the chart in combination with the panel?

Maybe I am just facing this problem, because my chart doesn´t actualize when placed inside an update panel.
After a complete postback, it works correctly again.

Greetings
Roger

Hi,

Yes, currently jqChart for ASP.NET doesn't work correctly in update panel. We're trying fixing this issue, but no luck for now.

Currently the best way you can do live data with jqChart in ASP.NET is with using jqChart for jQuery and providing the chart data via web services.

You can look at these examples:
http://www.jqchart.com/jquery/chart/RealTime/LiveData
http://www.jqchart.com/jquery/chart/ChartData/DataFromAjaxCall
