Canvas elements in fixed verion / custom excanvas

Hi,

I just noticed that in the version that fixes the memory leak problem (http://www.jqchart.com/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=42)
the library creates 2 canvas elements in the containing div instead of just 1 in the previous version.
Is this a bug or maybe a workaround of some sort? Will it have any impact in performance or memory consumption?

Also, in our application we are using an open-source library for 3D graphs which makes use of excanvas.js
You provide your own "modified" excanvas file.
What kind of modifications were done in your version and should we expect any problems/incompatibilities?

Hi,

Currently we are working on crosshairs chart feature, which requires additional Canvas for rendering them. It should have slighting impact on the performance and memory consumption, but I’ll try what is the difference without this additional Canvas.

In the excanvas version we use there are some improvements for measuring and rendering text on the Canvas. I think if you use our version, you shouldn’t have any problems/incompatibilities with the additional libraries you use. But in case If there are some, just rename our excanvas file and use them both.
